Telecommunication companies are painting a rosy picture of 5G, boasting that the new technology will provide us with nearly instant data transfers, faster speeds and greater connectivity. However, as 5G makes its way to cities across the planet, concerns are growing about the effects it could have on our health. Here is a look at 7 ways that it is putting us in danger.
1. It can cause health problems like fertility damage and premature aging.
Research by EMF and wireless radiation scientist Dr. Martin Pall has shown that EMFs not only cause premature aging but also problems like fertility, brain, heart and DNA damage. EMFs can activate the body’s voltage-gated calcium channels, causing them to release extra calcium ions into the cell. This spurs the creation of peroxynitrite and free radicals, putting our health in danger. Dr. Pall has even stated that “5G rollout is absolutely insane.”
2. It can harm your skin and sweat ducts.
The frequencies used and broadcasted by the 5G network affect our sweat ducts, which are essentially transformed into antennae. It’s quite scary to think that our skin, which is our largest organ, can actually be manipulated by 5G. What effects could this have in the long term?
3. It promotes deep EMF penetration.
EMF penetration is what makes cell phones especially risky to children compared to adults, along with the fact that the absorption of radiation accumulates throughout our lifetime and children generally have more years ahead of them than adults. Unfortunately, 5G promotes deep EMF penetration, putting people of all ages at risk.
4. It causes mitochondrial damage and may be carcinogenic.
Studies have shown that mitochondrial damage can occur after EMF radiation exposure, and the mutations are inherited by the next generations. While there aren’t a lot of studies on 5G because it is such a new technology, there’s already plenty of evidence linking 2G, 3G and 4G to several types of cancer, including brain cancer.
5. It could kill insects.
We already know that children are more vulnerable to 5G than adults, so it only makes sense that some of the planet’s smallest creatures are at particular risk. Insects are sensitive to the EMF waves of 5G and their body temperature actually rises as a result of exposure – something that wasn’t seen with 4G or Wi-Fi in tests. We’ve already lost 80 percent of the world’s insects in the last two decades, and experts worry that 5G could finish them off for good… and humans would be soon to follow.
6. It has been linked to problems like stillbirth and insomnia.
In the Northern England town of Gateshead, where streetlamps emit 5G radiation, many side effects have been reported, including insomnia, stillbirth, nosebleeds and neurological problems, since the lights were installed.
7. It can cause re-radiation inside your body.
One RF researcher who analyzed 5G before it was approved, Arthur Firstenburg, found that because 5G EM pulses are so short and are delivered in bursts, they can replicate inside your body. The moving charges turn into little antennas that essentially re-radiate the electromagnetic field, he wrote, sending it even deeper inside the body.
While 5G proponents are quick to point out that there aren’t any long-term studies showing harm, we can’t lose sight of the fact that there aren’t any long-term or even short-term studies showing it’s truly safe, either. What we do know, however, is that 2G, 3G, and 4G have all been linked to serious health problems, and it seems likely that 5G, which is much stronger than previous forms, could be even worse.
